The Chevy Silverado EV represents the best of both worlds, with the near-instantaneous torque and acceleration that can only come from an electric motor, combined with the legendary power and capability of the classic Silverado. How far can the Silverado go on a single charge? You’ll be able to drive an impressive 400 miles before you have to plug in your Silverado EV, and when you do you have multiple charging options (more on that below). So, how long will it take to fully charge the electric Chevy Silverado? It depends on what type of charger you’re using. When it comes time to plug in your truck, you can do so either at home or on the go. If you’re at home, you can plug in to a standard three-prong electrical outlet (Level 1 charging) or a dedicated EV home charger (Level 2 charging). Level 1 charging is cheaper and more convenient, but Level 2 charging is much faster. If you’re out and about around Cheektowaga, you can take advantage of a Level 3 public fast-charging station.
